Mike Aron

La Jolla, California

Mike Aron is a global finance and strategy leader, with over 30 years of success across banking, private equity, and entrepreneurship. As the founder of Aron Strategy Group and co-founder of Cidel Bank & Trust, Mike has advised businesses and governments across three continents. Today, he leads a multi-sector investment portfolio through his family office and mentors emerging entrepreneurs. A committed philanthropist, Mike and his wife champion grassroots initiatives in education, economic development, and community security — including the work of Magen 48.

Ed Hiner

Virginia Beach, Virginia

Ed Hiner is a decorated 20-year Navy SEAL veteran, having served as the Command Master Chief of the Navy’s elite training command and lead instructor of the SEAL training pipeline. He is the author of First, Fast, Fearless and GUTS: Greatness Under Tremendous Stress, and is a recognized expert in leadership, resilience, and combat preparation. Ed brings his unique experience in training America’s most elite warriors to help guide Magen 48’s civilian preparedness strategy. He serves as an active member of our Advisory Board and global ambassador for the project.

Kurt Schwartz

Boston, Massachusetts

Kurt Schwartz served as the Director of the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency and Undersecretary for Homeland Security and Emergency Management. With a distinguished background in law enforcement and public defense, Kurt helped lead state-wide crisis response efforts for over a decade. His guidance on emergency preparedness, coordination between agencies, and civil defense is a vital asset to the mission of Magen 48.
