Named in memory of ten fallen soldiers, Netiv HaAsara is a community born from the pursuit of peace. Its residents originally built a home in the Sinai, only to move and rebuild again in the northwest Negev following the Camp David Accords. Over the last two decades, it became the northernmost Israeli community bordering Gaza—located just 400 meters from the edge of the Strip. Despite living under the constant shadow of rocket fire, the residents turned their border wall into a world-famous art project called "Path to Peace," placing colorful ceramic tiles on the gray concrete to symbolize their hope for a quiet future.​

The tranquility of the moshav was shattered on October 7, 2023, when terrorists utilized paragliders and ground breaches to infiltrate the community. The ensuing massacre claimed the lives of twenty residents, including entire families, leaving the village a ghost town of evacuated homes. Today, Netiv HaAsara is at a crossroads; while most of the population remains displaced in hotels, a brave core has returned to maintain the farms and start the long process of rehabilitation. By twinning with or donating to Netiv HaAsara, you are supporting the reconstruction of a national symbol, helping to fund specialized trauma centers and security infrastructure that will allow 1,200 people to finally come home to their "Path of the Ten."
