Kibbutz Be'eri
Founded in 1946 by IDF veterans, Kibbutz Be’eri stood for decades as a premier bastion of communal resilience and agricultural service near the Gaza border. That legacy was met with unparalleled brutality on October 7th, when the kibbutz became the epicenter of a massacre that claimed over 100 lives and decimated its historic infrastructure. Today, Be’eri remains a harrowing symbol of the cost of the frontier, its shattered landscape calling for a monumental effort to restore the fractured soul of this legendary pioneer community.
Twinned with the Young Israel of Lawrence-Cedarhurst
Thanks to the twinning partnership, Kibbutz Be'eri is stronger and better prepared. Residents have completed vital first-response and civil defense training, but the work isn't finished. Your donations and volunteerism ensure they remain resilient against future threats. Support this community’s safety by donating today.
